Mr. Wesley Edward Thomas, 71, of West Palm Beach, FL. passed away at his home on Saturday, May 16, 2020. He was born on March 21, 1949 to the late Hillie Thomas and Jeanette Walker Thomas in Douglas, Ga.

Mr. Thomas worked most of his life serving others, always bringing a smile to everyone who was around him.

Mr. Thomas is survived by 6 Nieces; Sandra Chaney (Danny) of Douglas, GA., Connie Burkett (Eddie) of Douglas, Ga., Kathy Tanner (Bruce) of Denton, Ga., Debra Williams (Lamar) of Douglas, Ga., Peggy Wade (Derick) of Douglas, Ga. and Lavonda Dicus (Brian) of Scottbird, Al.

3 Nephews; Darin Hutcheson of Fitzgerald, Ga., Cory Yardberry (Beth) of Douglas, Ga. and Bobby Lamar Thomas (Sherry) of Douglas, Ga.

Wesley JR. who was like a son, Close Friend; Billy Young, Special Friend Cathy Coats.

2 Aunts; Thema Norris of McRae, Ga. and Vicy McNab of Douglas, Ga.

Other than his parents he is preceded in death by 4 Sisters; Lovie Ann Riggins, Mary Louie Thomas, Evelyn Hutcheson and Dorothy Yardberry.

2 Brothers; Jimmy Thomas and Bobby Thomas.

2 Nieces; Margaret Merritt and Becky Anderson.

Memorial services will be held Thursday, May 21, 2020 at the Douglas City Cemetery at 4:00 PM.
