Johnson Funeral & Cremation Services announces the memorial service for Tony Jurell Harper, age58, of Douglas who passed away Tuesday, March 21, 2023.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 pm to 1 pm Thursday, March 23, 2023 at Southview Church of God 1905 Willacoochee Highway Douglas, Georgia 31533. The memorial service will begin at 1:30 pm at Southview Church of God.
Mr. Tony Harper was born in Douglas, Georgia. He was the son of the late Alvin “Pete” Harper, Jr. Mr. Harper was a cargo plant supervisor for Freedom Company.
Survivors include: Wife: Paula Coley Harper of Douglas; Children: Landon Hutcheson (Akela) of Augusta, Haley Varnell (Tommy) of Florida; Tony “Hatch” Harper of Douglas; Mother: Margaret Guthrie Smith (Herschel) of Pearson; Brother: Andy Harper (Teresa Leigh) of Pearson; Grandson: Kohen Hutcheson of Augusta; Several nieces & nephews also survive.
