Johnson Funeral & Cremation Services announces the memorial service for Ted Jefferson Cothern, age 74, of Hazlehurst, who passed away Thursday, August 30, 2022.
Visitation & Memorial service will begin at 3:00 PM Sunday, September 04, 2022 at 583 Nina Gay Road Hazlehurst, Georgia 31539.
Mr. Cothern was born in Alma, Georgia. He was the son of the late Ottis Cothern & Hattie Bell Taylor Cothern. Mr. Cothern was a retired millwright worker.
Survivors include: Wife: Gayle Cothern of Hazlehurst; Daughter: Gina Anderson of Waycross; Sons: Rodney Cothern of Alma & Brandon Cothern of Hazlehurst; Brothers: Larry Cothern & Bobby Cothern both of Alma & Billy James Cothern of New York; Step-Son: Wesley Bookhardt of Denton; Step-daughter: Jessica Bookhardt Snyder of Carrollton; 5 grandchildren & 7 great-grandchildren; Step-grandchildren: Elliot Snyder, Everett Snyder & Daniel Wesley Bookhardt; Several nieces & nephews also survive.
