Roy Emory Powell

Mr. Roy Emory Powell, 60 of Hazlehurst, Ga passed away early Sunday morning on June 14, 2020 at his daughters’ residence in Douglas, Ga. He was the son of the late Eudon Powell and Margret Merritt Dennis.

Mr. Powell worked in the construction industry for many years and was a member of Macedonia Church of God in Denton, Ga.

He is survived by 2 Daughters; April Reliford of Douglas, Ga. and Savannah Skinner of Hazlehurst, Ga.

2 Granddaughters; Alissa Hollinger of Douglas, Ga. and Hope Hollinger of Douglas, Ga.

1 Grandson; Jordan Hollinger of Douglas, Ga.

1 Great- Grandson; Eli Rangel of Douglas, Ga.

1 Great Granddaughter; Ellah Rangel of Douglas, Ga.

1 Brother; Charles Powell of Hazlehurst, Ga.

2 Sisters; Janice Powell of Hazlehurst, Ga. and Bernice Atkinson of Hazlehurst, Ga.

Other than his parents Mr. Powell is preceded in death by his Brother JR Atkinson.

A memorial service will be held at a later date at Macedonia Church of God with Rev. Van McCall officiating.

Memorization will be by cremation.
