Obituary
Murvin LaDon Butler, age 75, of Broxton, passed away Wednesday, December 28, 2022, at his home.
Mr. Butler was born February 9th 1947, in Pavo, Georgia. He was the son of the late Murvin Lanier Butler & Mae Griffin Butler. Mr. Butler is a veteran of the Vietnam War. He served honorably in the U.S. Navy.
He is survived by his Wife of 25 years: Julia Roane Butler, Broxton, Ga; 2 Sons & Daughter-in-law, Clint & Sherry Roane, Monroe, Ga, Geoff Butler, Augusta, Ga; and 3 Grand-daughters; Grace Roane, Addison Roane & Ella Roane, Monroe, Ga.
Services will be held at 2 pm on Saturday, January 21st at the Tiger Baptist Church in Tiger, Georgia. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Gary Sinise Foundation, a cause that was important to him.
