Margret E (Baker) Hersey

Mrs. Margret E. Hersey, 65 of Douglas, GA. passed away September 18, 2023, at Memorial Health in Savannah, GA. with her loved ones by her side. She was born in Atlanta, GA. to the late Mr. Robert and Naomi Baker.

Ms. Hersey is survived her Husband; Jimmy Carver of Douglas, Ga. 2 Daughters; Kristy Hersey of Orlando, FL. and Cory Hersey of St. Augustine, FL. 1 Son; Billy Hersey, 2 Sister-in-laws; Maxine Bryant and Betty Wiggins both of Douglas, GA. Several Grandchildren, Nieces, Nephews and other family members also survive.

Visitation services will take place Friday, September 22, 2023 from 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM at Johnson Funeral & Cremation Services.

Graveside services for Ms. Hersey will be held Saturday, September 23, 2023, 3:00 PM at Carver Cemetery in Jeff Davis County.
