Obituary

Johnson Funeral & Cremation Services announces the memorial service for Jack Ellis, age 80, of Douglas, who passed away Wednesday, August 31, 2022.

Visitation & Memorial service will begin at 6:00 PM Friday, September 02, 2022 at Johnson Funeral  & Cremation Services 2760 US Hwy 441 S, Douglas, Ga.  31535.

Mr. Ellis was born in Elkton, Maryland.  He was the son of the late Harvey Ellis & Verna Moyer Ellis and was preceded in death by a sister: Cheryl English.

Survivors include: Wife: Jean Kitchens Ellis of Douglas; Daughters: Karla Douglas (Kevin) of Douglas, Yevette Matthews (Bill)  of Tenino, WA; Brother: Donald Ellis (Martha) of Florence, SC, Bryan Ellis (Tonya) of Ambrose; Sisters: Brenda Kinnett & Debbie  Wooten (Quitman) all of Pridgen, 9 grandchildren: Kalli Douglas, Kam Douglas, Juston Crawford, Madison Crawford & Meagon Crawford; Several nieces & nephews; Special family: Karen & Russ Jackson, Lucy Kate, Andi, Mabry, Ruthie all of Newnan, Ga.
