Mr. David Preston Stroud of Douglas, GA. Passed away Monday, October 10, 2022 surrounded by loved ones.
Visitation will take place Wednesday, October 12, 2022 starting at 6:00 PM in the chapel of Johnson Funeral & Cremation Services.
Funeral Services will be Thursday, October 13, 2022 starting at 11:00 AM in the chapel of Johnson Funeral & Cremation Services. Burial will follow service at the Douglas City Cemetery.
Mr. Stroud was born in Austell, Ga. He was preceded in death by: His parents: Wesley Henry Stroud and Vera Brouch Stroud; Brothers: Robert Russell Stroud (Bobby) & Wesley H. Stroud, Jr. (Hank); Sister-in-law: Charlyn Kay Stroud. Mr. Stroud was a retired truck driver.
Survivors include: Wife: Jean Worth Stroud of Douglas; Daughter: Stacie (John) Norman; Son: Jason (Breann) Stroud; Special Children: Stephen & Charlotte Buize; Grandchildren: Micah, Mikaela, Rachel, Norman, Anthony Smith, Brennan Hutto, Bailey Burkett, Stephen Jr. & Penelope Baize; Great-Grandchildren: Hezekiah Gonzalez & Kashton Garcia; Brother & Sister-in-law: Richard W. Stroud & Donna Lee Stroud of Douglasville; Sisters & Brother-in-law: Karen Stroud Edison of Westminster, Colorado, Linda Stroud Sewell & Alan Sewell of Douglasville.
