Johnson Funeral & Cremation Services announces the funeral service for David Merle Nichols, age 61, who passed away Wednesday, February 01, 2023.
Visitation will be Saturday, February 11, 2023 from 11-2 PM at Johnson Funeral & Cremation Services. Services will be held at 2 pm Saturday, February 11, 2023 in the Chapel of Johnson Funeral & Cremation Services.
Rev. Rob Merritt will officiate with burial in the Evergreen Cemetery in Fitzgerald.
Mr. Nichols was born in Duluth Georgia. He was the son of the late Harvey Bartow Nichols. Mr. Nichols was a truck driver and enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle.
Survivors include: Wife: Wanda Melton Nichols of Fitzgerald; Son: Kevin Nichols of Dacula; Daughter-in-law: Erin Nichols of Dacula; Grandchildren: Christian Nichols & Jillian Nichols both of Dacula; Daughter: Ashley Kincaid of Perry; Son-in-law: Eric Kincaid of Perry; Step-sons: Jason Stewart, Jeremy Stewart, Jesse Stewart & Jared Stewart all of Tampa, Florida; Mother: Lois Nichols of Whitesburg; Brother: Mike Nichols of Whitesburg; Sister: Kim Nichols of Newnan.
