Johnson Funeral & Cremation Services announces the Memorial Service for Aaron Edward Cothren Jr. (Buddy) age 80, of Douglas, Ga. who passed away Sunday, June 5, 2022.
Visitation will be 9 am to 10 am Wednesday, June 8, 2022, at Johnson Funeral & Cremation Chapel with Graveside Services at 11 am, at the Oak Grove Holiness Baptist Church, located at 6598 Oak Grove Church Road, Millwood, Ga. 31552.
Mr. Cothren was born in Douglas, Ga. He was the son of the late Aaron Edward Cothren Sr. and the late Pearle Florence Little Cothren. He was a retired self-employed business man. He is preceded in death by his Sister: Christine Whitley.
Survivors include: Son: Vince Edwin Cothren of Nicholls, Ga. Sisters: Lucille, Crosby of Axson, Ga. Mattie Lee Wright of Smyrna, Ga., Betty Pridgen of Pridgen, Ga. Grandson: Aaron Cothren of Paris, Tx., Grand-daughter: Lindsey Minis of Claxton, Ga. Great Grandsons: Hayden Morris and Easton Minis of Claxton, Ga. Great Grand-daughter: Allie Minis of Claxton, Ga. Great Grandsons: Aaron Cothren Jr. and Avery Cothren of Paris, Tx.
Active Pallbearers will be: Waylon Faulk, Cameron Faulk, Craig Harrell, Shane Pridgen, Andrew Waldron, and Clint Waldron.
